Paul S. Valentine
President and Chief Executive Officer
Paul specializes in the management and development of high-quality, fast-growth organizations. He joined Sleep HealthCenters in 2002 and has spoken for the AASM and the ACCP on the topic of sleep center business management. Paul is on the AASM Future of Sleep Medicine Presidential Task Force, as well as the National Sleep Foundation’s Development Committee. He is the former President and Chief Operating Officer of Children’s Medical Ventures, a developer, manufacturer and distributor of neonatal medical devices. Prior to that, Paul was Chief Financial Officer of both Cape Cod Potato Chip Company and The Boston Popcorn Company. He holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting and a Masters degree in Business Administration, both from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts.
Russell Benaroya
Chief Development Officer
Prior to REM, Russell spent three years at Kline Hawkes & Co. a Los Angeles based private equity firm investing in healthcare, business service and technology companies. Russell also spent two years as Director of Corporate Development at Kline Hawkes portfolio company Overture Services that was sold to Yahoo in October 2003. Russell began his career in investment banking at Salomon Smith Barney in New York where he executed a number of transactions in the high growth consumer products sector. Russell earned a B.A. in economics from UC Santa Barbara and an MBA from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA.

Chief Operating Officer
Prior to REM Medical, Eric spent two years with Allegis Capital, a venture capital firm, investing in a variety of start-up companies. Previously, he was chief architect of a business services company in Washington, D.C. where he designed and managed their operations. Eric began his career as an information technology consultant developing systems and data collection processes for the wireless telecommunications industry. He earned a B.S. in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA.
